Functional comprehension

Pakistani Educational Leadership Institute participants will be able to:

  • log into and print from campus cluster computers
  • log into and navigate electronic resources including myPlymouth, Blackboard and email
  • save and retrieve files from a networked drive
  • search and retrieve appropriate material from our research databases
  • log into and contribute to our virtual community in the PELI blog
  • create documents in a word processing application that include the following:
    • text formatting
    • images
    • hyperlinks

      charts/graphs

  • create presentations in the appropriate application that include the following:
    • text
    • images
    • hyperlinks
    • multimedia
    • charts/graphs from external data sources

ISTE Standards

Per ISTE standards, Pakistani Educational Leadership Institute participants should be able to:

  • demonstrate creative thinking, constructive knowledge and develop innovative processes
  • use digital media & environments to communicate and work collaboratively
  • apply digital tools to gather, evaluate and synthesize information
  • use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources
  • understand human, cultural, and societal issues related to technology and practice legal and ethical behavior
  • demonstrate a sound understand of technology concepts systems and operation
